How online backups work

Your data is compressed and encrypted in the client software then sent via a secure connection to our backup servers.  You can access the data over the corporate Intranet, direct dial up or from anywhere in the world via the Internet.

All backed up data is stored on highly redundant Storage Platforms, using RAID 5 file servers.

Our online backup systems are based on the clients needs of a daily schedule that will normally be set to run every night when Internet traffic is low.  Your backups can be accessed 24 hours a day 7 days a week from anywhere in the world.
